RAINBOWS: WHAT’S THE SPIRITUAL MEANING?

Spread the love:

Do you know the true meaning behind a rainbow?

Ever since we was kids, we just thought rainbows was something that appear after a heavy rainfall. We’ll see the sun shining, thinking that it caused a reflection in the water, making this big colorful bow appear.

This is another case where we either believe in science or God, and in this case it’s definitely God. He actually gives us a clear explanation for the purpose of a rainbow.

In Genesis 9:11, after God flooded the earth, he made a promise to Noah to never kill all living flesh using floodwaters; neither shall he use a flood to destroy the earth.

Before I go any further…

I was sitting here thinking about all of the floods that’s been happening around the world and I wonder if that’s God’s doing or man?

With this question lingering, I finally came across a prophetess named Yaunah Wooten, who has been warning people about Florida and California going under water, and also warning that Antarctica will completely melt.

For a minute I thought to myself that this couldn’t be one of God’s judgement because of his promise.

The Bible talks about judgements on earth consisting of famines, plaques, earthquakes, and fearful sights. So I assumed that the use of flood waters or hurricanes was satan’s doing, but I was wrong.

It turns out that God promised Noah that he wouldn’t kill ALL living flesh or Destroy Earth as he did BEFORE, and he keeps this promise by signaling a rainbow in the sky.

Genesis 9:13-16 (Holman KJV)– And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:

And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

So with that being said…

God still uses flood waters and hurricanes to judge various places that’s filled with sins, but he won’t use flood waters or hurricanes to destroy people or earth as a whole.

When God send out natural disasters like tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, famine, plaques, and earthquakes….and your life was spared…you NEED to come to REPENTANCE because He’s coming for the wicked. Sinners. This is God’s judgement upon earth. This is why a lot of diverse places are going through tragedy.

But to stay on topic…

The next time you see a rainbow in the sky after it rains, remember God’s promise to never flood the earth as a whole again.

Yes rainbows are a pretty sight to see, but there’s definitely a huge meaning behind it all.
