GOOD VS. EVIL

Spread the love:

Why do God allow innocent people to die?

Well first off, we have to understand how God works.

Throughout the Bible, we can see that God had no control over what people do. He gave us all freewill, having high hopes that we may obey his commandments.

If you read Genesis 2:15-17 (Holman KJV)-And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

This scripture shows us that God purposely placed the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the garden of Eden because he trusted that man would obey him.

So God willingly gave us a choice to follow his commands or live by our own sinful desires that unfortunately leads to death.

You would think that something you created would obey you instead of turning against you, but that wasn’t the case…

So on down the line, Eve was created, whom got deceived by the serpent, and caused both her and her husband Adam to eat the forbidden fruit.

They now had the knowledge of good and evil.

Since Adam and Eve were the first humans created for the garden of Eden, this knowledge or curse they received from the fruit would be passed down from generations to generations, becoming the beginning of sins.

So depending on a situation, an innocent  person may come in contact with sinful persons, which may lead to a tragedy.

Most humans take it upon themselves to sin against oneself and others.

Like Cain for example: Cain murdered his innocent brother Abel because of pure jealousy. Cain didn’t have to kill his brother but he chose to.

So Cain committed the sins of envy and murder. He sinned against himself by being jealous and sinned against his brother Abel by murdering him.

Innocent people really do be at the wrong place at the wrong time….

God can’t control what we do, but he can tell us the right things to do, and it’s up to us whether we listen or not.

God tells us not to hang with certain people because it could lead to uncontrollable circumstances, and neither should we provoke people, or hang around people who are easily angered.

God also warns us about people who seek to do evil against others.

Proverbs 24:1 (Tyndale NLT)- Don’t envy evil people or desire their company. For their hearts plot violence, and their words always stir trouble.

There are many tragedies where people hanged around the wrong friends and it costed them their lives, or they returned the same energy of anger and it resulted in their death.

Proverbs 22:24 (Tyndale NLT)- Don’t befriend angry people or associate with hot-tempered people, or you will learn to be like them and endanger your soul.

So once again: Why do innocent people die?

Because the world is also filled with children of the Devil, who only comes to do evil works:

John 8:44 (Holman KJV)- Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him.

In days like these we have to be vigilant.

We have to have the ability to discern people and situations so we can protect ourselves.

We should never be too quick to react because our lives could always be at stake. Now and days, people are crazy.
